Availability of ready farm or sizeable land suitable for feedlot activities.
Registration of farm with the Department of Veterinary Services
Attendance for required trainings.
Eligibility for financing packages
Commitment to maintain necessary documentation based on the industry standards
Quotes will be allocated for government pensioners, unemployed graduates and rural farmers.
As the integrator of the satellite program, Premier Meats Australia will provide the participating farmers with access to following facilities:
Start-up planning
Financial and cash flow management
Disease detection, control and evasion.
Hygiene and cattle health management.
Total Quality Management.
Machinery handling.
Stock management
Feeding and weight gain management.
Trainers will be sent to designated sites for onsite training and feedlot appreciation.
Financial Assistance
Premier Meats Australia will prepare a set of financial packages based on the feedlot sizes.
Satellite farmers have to put a certain amount of capital as a commitment to investment.
Earthwork
Construction of infrastructure and facilities
Working capital to purchase equipment and stock.
Cost for technical assistance and trainings.
Maintenance costs including the veterinary services, medicines and feed material
Centralized trainings
Veterinary services with assistance from the Department of Veterinary Services
Operational trouble shooting.
Logistics arrangement for cattle delivery and collection.
Premier Meats Australia will take up the supplies of all material inclusive of:
Feeder cattle sold at agreed cost to the satellite farmers.
Feed materials.
Machinery.
Veterinary products and medicines
